Just got back from a foodcation road trip to San Francisco. Did a bit of work, a ton of walking, and far too much eating.
This lemon-shallot romaine salad from Tartine hit the spot after we spent the day exploring the Golden Gate State Park.
Here’s the food we obsessed over in San Francisco:
-Tartine for fresh bread, and an impressive cheese menu. //
-Sight Glass Coffee for a morning brew of coffee, and a delicious scone. Great place to rest your feet and people watch in the loft. //
-Outerlands for my favorite vice: a grilled cheese sandwich. Pairs perfectly with their cauliflower soup. //
-Nopalito for organic mexican food. The Totopos con Chile were my favorite.. “tortilla chips, salsa de arbol, cotija cheese, crema and lime.” //
-Flour + Water for scrumptious rotating menu of pastas that I could never make at home. //
-Mission Chinese for the spiciest food I’ve had since Beijing. Come for szechuan pepper that numbs your mouth. //
Would love to hear your favorite spots in the city.
Until we meet again SF!1 Comment »
