Hi friends. Signing off with this image from Julie’s free-wheeling senior portrait session this week. Love her style & sass. Back in the office May 11th. If you want to book a portrait session or have a wedding inquiry my secretary will be fielding those while I’m away. Hit me at Chantal(@)chantalandrea.com.

He’s redefining what it means to be a filmmaker in Seattle, and doing it with enough style & grace to make people stop and listen. City Arts Magazine just wrote him up, and featured him as one of Seattle’s upcoming innovated filmmakers.
After the shoot Shaun brought me to his favorite neighborhood pizza joint (where he knows the Bostonian owners on a first name basis) and we sunk our teeth into doughy sweet marinara pizza while discussing relationships, romance, the economy and how Shaun fits all of this into his most recent film, 100 % Off: A Recession-Era Romance.
This summer Shaun & I will be embarking on a serious collaboration I’m pretty over-the-moon about. More to come on this later.
For now, check him out.
1 Comment »These two found each other almost two summers ago. They spent their first days together sprawled out on the hill at Gasworks Park, talking for hours and taking in views of kite fliers and the Seattle skyline. Ali is one of the most encouraging, peaceful and genuinely kind friends I have ever known. She’s the kind of person you can share a pot of tea with and get lost in conversation about the good, beautiful and joyous things in life. Small (but grand) things, like teaching a child how to say a new work, or the freshness of a ripe orange. Ryan is creative, hilarious and without fail has made me laugh every time we’ve crossed paths.
So happy for these two, their love, and that I got to freeze it to look back on years down the road.
